Project is evolved to reach the strategy of European Union Commission for 2020 in regarding improving basic skills of this generation for superior future of the EU. It aims to evolve needful basic skills using MATHEMATICS, SCİENCE, TECHNOLOGY and LANGUAGE for the kids by changing many activities as plays. The project team and the coordinators of the schools that are involved in project, we talk through the issue (how to upgrade deficiency of primary skills in early childhood education) and pointed out the needs in involved schools by taking monitoring of teachers using the survey. These are the main outcomes of our survey: 1-The smallest students are not having interest because theoretical knowledge is not integrated with practical studying and the activities are too academic 2-The young students are not having interest because of low self- deficiency of self-confidence 3-Deficiency of practical training / knowledge became the primary area with our study that requires to be solved. Combining theoretical and practical knowledge a more effective learning will be provided. Our operating methodology is stated on developing / creating practical experiments/ real situations / activities for those of theoretical skills that are given in early school subjects. We want to combine both types of knowledge and ensure comprehensive learning. Because this is a project aimed at early childhood, the educational level of all activities will be elementary. Smallest students are the main target group and clubs activities are going to be modified in plays. Teachers will be the main players in the project. They will evolve actual activities and experiments for young students and prepare a systematic schooling program relying on their access in the project.
AIMS
-Creating dynamic early school surroundings inside and outside the classes; -Providing comprehensive learning; -Evolving ICT, digital skills and language for kids; -Evolving interest of the students in Science, Mathematics, Language and Technology; -Ameliorate self-valuation;
WORK PROCESS
Project activities will be used to create 5 kids clubs (LANGUAGE CLUB, TECHNOLOGY CLUB, MATHS CLUB, SCIENCE CLUB, and PROJECT CLUB). Each club will run different ways of activities associated to children skills, talents and desire. The main events are 5 short term meetings in this project. Clubs will manage their particular activities on a regional level at first and on short term exchanges. There will be distribution tasks done at each institution, after the exchange. 5 short-term teacher exchanges will be done 5 times in two years. The overall number of teachers participating in the exchange will be 120. In the last project exchange a gathering will be held in the end of the project for estimating the project activities, writing last report and arranging a long lasting diffusion (2 teachers from each institution) IT is the general coordinator. It will follow the all schedule, tasks and timing of the project partners. Project is spited into easy-to- follow sections.
EXPECTED RESULTS
The project contains 5 short term swaps of teachers; there are going to be 20 variabilities for each included school. The main project team will monitor activities, performances and products so the team will decide who will take a part in arranged meetings. Running this project internationally is obligatory as every interchange will be a meeting for each of the clubs. Every teacher will practice their actions on an international plane. In addition, teachers will observe good practices at host school and relocate them into their training programs. All of these primary activities will insure us to reach our project goals.
